| What we are all about... The Springfield Church of Christ has the conviction that to truly be a Church of Christ we need to be like the church we all read about in the scriptures. Therefore, we are devoted to one another, to the teachings of scripture and to seeking after God personally and not just on Sunday (Acts 2:42-47). Our congregation was established by just a dedicated few in 1995 and has grown to what we have today, a church of about 40 fully committed disciples of Jesus. Our goal is to be Springfield’s best source of spiritual revival and Christ inspired service to our community. We prefer substance to size, but are always seeking to grow in number. We are steadily progressing toward restoring the church as it was in the first century, a time when God moved in amazing ways and the followers of Jesus saw many wonderful deeds done in Jesus’ name, while truly enjoying each other’s company. No mere paragraph can fully describe who we are. We cover all demographics in terms of age, race and income. We draw members from all around the Greater Springfield Area and our love for each other is truly unique in today’s spiritual landscape. The best thing to do is to simply come on out and see us. If you are seeking more than just a church, but are looking for a place to connect with God and be encouraged by his people, you will like what you find here. |

| Our Theme for 2012 |
| Our theme for 2012 is "LOVE NEVER FAILS". This year we will be focusing on our desire to live out our Christianity in a way that is successful. According to the Bible, God IS love, and in 1 Corinthians 13: 8, it is love that "never fails". As Disciples of Christ, we can be assured victory in every area of our life if we simply love Our God, and love one another. Here's to an AMAZING 2012! |
